Dr. McChane enjoys taking care of families, and meeting patients where they are. He understands the importance of helping patients navigate through a complex medical condition through sharing compassion and education. His philosophy of care has a holistic focus on lifelong care from newborns to geriatrics, including reproductive health, vasectomies, prenatal care, substance use, and mental health.
His heart for the community led him to pursue his career as a family doctor. One occupation that has had a lasting impression on his life and ultimately inspired his career decision was working as a Spanish interpreter at a free clinic in Kentucky. He recognized the importance of providing health care services to patients in a language they understand best.
After completing medical school, he worked serving at a local community health center in the valley, Full Circle Health. His favorite part about being a family doctor is seeing his patients make positive changes to improve their A1C, blood pressure, or mental health.
